Nurse confronts Max Cale after his lecture. He was recruiting people for the government, and the Nurse was one of his previous recruits. He evidently took advantage of her at one point. Nurse guts him, bothered because he knows some of her previous names. |

Doktor Sleepless broadcasts about helping to bring about the stagnation of Heavenside. He tells of tomorrow morning being what everyone will deserve. The Grinders are out on the streets, listening. |

Doktor Sleepless provides the commissioner with a blood sample he draws on himself. Doktor Sleepless threatens Preston Stoker, believing him to have been responsible for Max Cale's death. |

Doktor Sleepless tells Nurse of Preston Stoker's attempt to incarcerate him. He also told her he released St. Teresa's Eyes into Heavenside. They leave Scartop Mountain and go into the city, where Doktor Sleepless proceeds to show and tell the Nurse the secrets of the H-Plates. |

Doktor Sleepless reveals the H-Plates are location markers that soldiers can use to find entrances to the underground Apocalypse Bunkers., located beneath Heavenside. Originally started as a place of refuge for the government in case of nuclear attack, six of them changed after the assassination of John F. Kennedy in 1963, evolving into "cultural bunkers" in case of revolution. |

The owner of Shank Valentine wakes up to banging on his door. He finds a machine, with the note "faces won't be legal forever". Plugging it in, he discovers the machine to be a fabricator, which then makes masks resembling the face of Doktor Sleepless. |

According to Doktor Sleepless, John Reinhardt invented the patent for the RFID tags used by everyone. This has made Reinhardt a rich man. |
